Christmas in July! A fundraiser for LFM's Holiday Show

We can hardly believe it ourselves, but our 4th annual Holiday show is booked for December 5th at the ORANGE PEEL!

This is a momentous occasion for a group of women who have worked hard over the last several years to change the face of what constitutes a "dancer" - that you have to be a particular body shape, size, or age in order to strut yourself on stage. As a culture, we're moving out of that old paradigm of cookie cutter dancers and into a place that is inclusive, strong, and FABULOUS.

But to put on a show of this caliber, it takes a quite a bit of blood, sweat, tears, and - you guessed it - money. But instead of just asking you to hand over some dough, we're providing an awesome night that gives back to you even as you help us to put on the BEST SHOW EVER.

Come eat, drink, and be merry (as much as you want) on Friday, July 24th from 7-9pm at the cozy space called East/West in yep, East-West Asheville (think that corner where Haywood rounds toward the River Arts District). You'll enjoy dance performances, music, and an incredible silent auction, and other fun little games throughout the evening. Best of all, you get to consume as much food and drink as you like from great local breweries and restaurants who have kindly donated toward our effort, including Pisgah Brewery, Hi-Wire, Fresh Pizza, and Ultimate Ice Cream, among others (and there will be wine, too).

The space is small, with only 50 tickets available, so we are doing a tiered system of ticket sales. The first 20 tickets are only $20! The next 15 are $25. The final 15 are $30, all of which are a great deal for food, drink, and entertainment, plus helping us out tremendously at the same time.
