Workshop w/Dr. God: Acting for Improvisers (SF Improv Festival 2011)
Game, relationship, listening, heightening and specifics are all key components to becoming a great improviser. Unfortunately, performers are sometimes so concerned with the rules that they forget that they are in the middle of performing live theater. In this workshop, Neil Garguilo will work on how to get you out of your head and commit to a scene. He will help you ground your characters and show you how honesty and realism will drive the comedy and make your performances memorable.
** NOTE: If you wish to purchase ALL of the Dr. God Workshops, there is an All Class Pass. Contact info@sfimprovfestival.com for details.
Neil is one of the founding members of Dr. God and a working actor based out of Los Angeles.
