Worcester Shakespeare Festival 2011
On July 20-31, August 5-7, 11, 13, 17, and 19 the Worcester Shakespeare Company will perform The Comedy of Errors at the Memorial Grove Amphitheater in Worcester's Green Hill Park. This version will close its run with a 3 pm final performance at Worcester's Hanover Theater on Sunday, August 21.
Hamlet will be performed on August 3-4, 10, 12, 14, and 18 at the Memorial Amphitheater. Hamlet will have its final performance at the Hanover on Saturday, August 20 at 7 pm. Tickets for each of the final performances at the Hanover Theatre will be available directly from the theatre. See one, or see both -- Single-show tickets are available here for all Memorial Grove performances. Season Pass tickets allowe you to see both shows at a discount, or your favorite show twice. For groups of 10 or more, please contact the company via the link below.
Note: Although the outdoor Memorial Grove Amphitheatre is an ideal venue for the performance of Shakespeare's plays, and seating on wooden risers is relatively comfortable, please bring along a cushion, a folding chair, an umbrella, and/or mosquito repellent to be ready for anything. For information on cancellations due to inclement weather, please check the Company's website at www.worcestershakespearecompany.org after 4:30 pm on the day of performance. All ages welcome, if properly supervised, and children under 12 admitted free with an adult.
