Behind Closed Doors: A 2nd Class Cabaret
"No other offense has ever been visited with such severe penalties as seeking to help the oppressed." Those historic words, spoken by Clarence Darrow, ring true throughout our modern world.

The show takes place in a dystopian, near-future society, where the movement for equal rights has taken a severe step backward, and people's fundamental liberties have been further stripped away. The underground cabaret, where most of the action of the show occurs, is an oasis in a desert of intolerance - a place where people can freely be themselves. The story is dark and touching, with clever humor and burlesque elements throughout. It is our hope that the original score, inspired choreography and moving story will not only entertain, but incite people to action. It is time for change.
