Flute Quest 2007, Vince Chafin, Ron Warren & Jeff Ball Concert
We invite you to join us Saturday evening for a Flute Quest 2007 fantastic concert with Native American Flute players Vince Chafin, Ron Warren and Jeff Ball. Vince Chafin, a musician rooted in jazz, combines that energy with a passion for Native American, Anasazi and pre-Columbian Aztec flutes. The artful fusion of contemporary and ancient sounds can clearly be heard through his flute playing. Ron Warren is a NAMMY nominated composer/arranger as well as a performer of keyboards and Native American flutes. Ron's work has been heard throughout the U.S. and Europe and The Washington Post praised his music as "pensively evocative", describing his performance as "expressive and highly energetic". Since picking up the flute in 1993 Jeff Ball has become an award winning Native American Flute player. Jeff was honored with a Native American Music Awards nomination for best flutist of the year in 1998, and his album Cedar Moon, won it's category in 2001.
