BACHtoberfest
Beer, brats, baubles, and baroque: it could only be
BACHtoberfest! Join BACH for a traditional Oktoberfest with
Bavarian beer and wine tasting, live oompah music and
German delicacies, all while perusing the select items available at the silent auction. Afterwards, BACH is proud to spotlight gifted flutist Amanda Pond in music for conviviality: Georg Philipp Telemann's Tafelmusik ("table music"), Suite in A minor. With parallels to the Brandenburg Concertos of Johann Sebastian Bach, Tafelmusik demonstrates Telemann's skill in handling diverse musical genres and a variety of instruments.
