Fiesta Poster Retro Wine Reception
Kick-off Fiesta's party season with an exclusive wine and cheese reception to celebrate the original works and first prints of official Fiesta poster art from the last 30 years! This event is sponsored by the Central Library Friends in association with "Fiesta Poster Retro '81 through '11, Works Past to Present: Originals and First Prints" on display in Central Library Gallery, April 1 through 30, 2011. All works are on loan from the Fiesta San Antonio Commission.
Special guests will include Miss Fiesta 2011 Lauren Holt and Fiesta San Antonio Commission President Sam Bell Steves II, on-hand for the official ribbon-cutting. Gypsy Caravan's music will provide a latin flavor to the event, along with dance performances during the night. And maybe you'll get cracked with the first cascarone of the season! Casual or formal, it's up to you!
