The Wellspring Project Presents: Rooted (2)
Hosted by one of Seattle's most well-known & talented dancer/choreographer Daniel Cruz (Michael Jackson, Prince, NSYNC, Ashanti, 5th Ave Theater & more) & the beautiful Macklorette, Anna Matuszewski (Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, & more). Guest speaker: Miss Washington United States & Sea Gal, Geraldine Lirio, & a few surprise guests... stay tuned!
Performances include but not limited to: Boogiezone BREED Seattle Allegro Performing Arts Academy, Kontagious Movement, Westlake Dance Center, and diverse acts in salsa, African, tap, and more. LIVE band: the entertaining Lions Ambition.
ALL proceeds go to The Wellspring Project's mission to promote hope, love, and HEALING through movement in the global community in partnership with grads from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. The group is traveling to Uganda for the second time to work with people that have experienced trauma from the war that Joseph Kony started in Southern Sudan and Northern Uganda. Psychology researchers have partnered with the team to dig further into how to connect healing in the mind with awareness in the body and spirit.
