FVRD is proud to host a 2 day skater clinic with roller derby legend Bonnie D Stroir! Bonnie D. Stroir started her roller derby career in 2003 commuting from San Diego to skate with the L.A. Derby Dolls. In 2005, Bonnie's derby career took off when she started the San Diego Derby Dolls league. She has had equal amounts of time on both banked and flat tracks as well a...s experience with blocking and jamming. Bonnie D. Stroir wants to share her extensive knowledge of roller derby with all who will listen and is now training and coaching other derby leagues all across the country.
Where:Flathead Valley Fairgrounds Trade Center
When: June 25-26, 2011
Time: 930 am - 5 pm
Cost: $50 for 2 days of derby/skate clinic
Lunch, snacks and drinks will be provided for both days.
*The clinic schedule will be provided once it is finalized
A limited number of tickets are available!
Requirements for participation in the clinic:
- Female 18 or older
- Minimum skills- boutable/scrimmagable players only please.
- Must have WFTDA or USARS insurance (USARS single event insurance will be available for $20)
- Must be affiliated with a recognized league
- Must bring a black shirt and a white shirt for scrimmaging
- Please bring a pair of tennis shoes for off skate drills
This is going to be a closed event, sorry no spectators.
