Sustainability Wins Lunch and Learn: Lions and Tigers and Puppies, Oh My!

Animals, big and small, suffer from abuse and neglect all over the world. However, two Colorado-based organizations are working tirelessly to change the fate for some of these animals. The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg specializes in rescuing, rehabilitating and providing life-long homes for large carnivores and other animals because approximately 25,000 wild animals are living in inappropriate and private homes across the United States. All Aboard Animal Rescue Colorado works to rescue, foster, and rehome as many animals as they can from Colorado (and surrounding states) to bring down the euthanasia rate in Colorado of over 35,000 animals every year.

While the reality of this situation may be depressing, thankfully, you can come and learn about what these two incredible organizations are doing to help and protect animals everywhere.
