Albuquerque Ukulele Festival 2015 "Roaring Ukes"
September 25 & 26, 2015. The 2nd Annual Albuquerque Ukekopelli Festival will be held at the African-American Performing Arts Center.
Friday night concert begins at 6:45. First on stage will be Fred Sokolow playing blues ukulele, followed by Janet Kline and Her Parlor Boys. Janet has a mix of jazz, ragtime and vaudeville. After intermission, Glenn Kostur and the Alpha Cats will make you want to dance with their swing jazz sound.
Saturday is filled with workshops all day for all levels of players. Vendors with amazing ukuleles and accessories will be in attendance.
