2008 Solstice Film Festival PUB CRAWL!!! June 14
On June 14 we invite you to participate in our 2nd Annual "Celebrity Look-A-Like" pub crawl.
Prizes will be given out for those who can pull off the best look-a-like of any movie character (Capt. Jack Sparrow, Hercules, Charlie Chaplin, Predator...you get the point) or best resemble a celebrity who was photographed in a precarious or otherwise embarrassing situation.
Some early ideas that have been discussed is the infamous Nick Nolte mug shot...the new hairdo of the fresh-out-of-rehab Brittney Spears...Paris Hilton in her new black and white stripped outfit she will be sporting at the Cali Penn...or any photo ever taken of Courtney Love.
We are sure by the end of the evening we will all end up looking like David Hasselhoff in his new, straight to tabloid TV, video of him munching on a burger and speaking almost inaudibly due to one too many cocktails.
Now of course those of you who do not want to participate in the theme contest are more than welcome to come aboard anyway, but you won't be eligible for the great prizes, and you are just missing out on a great opportunity for a conversation starter at all of the bars.
We will be departing from Moose Country on Plato Ave at 4pm on Saturday June 16. We suggest getting there around 3, since Joseph's is actually our first stop.
From there we will hop aboard our trusty chariots (probably busses) that will help us crawl from bar to bar.
Drink specials and contests will be held throughout the adventure, and photos of the event will be posted on the Solstice Film Festival website.
$20 dollars will get participants a bracelet for the June 23rd benefit concert, an ALL ACCESS PASS to Solstice Film Festival and many stories to tell your friends who were unfortunate enough not to make it.
