Central Utility Plant Tour
Join the AIA Central Valley Chapter as we tour the State of California's new Central Utility Plant: a key State asset that provides chilled water for cooling, steam for heating and compressed air for controls to 23 existing State-owned buildings in the Capitol area.
Date: Thursday, February 17, 2011
Time: 5:30 to ~8:00 p.m.
Location: 6th & Q Streets, Sacramento, CA Group will meet at Nacht & Lewis Architects for registration and refreshments, and then walk to the plant for the tour.
Cost: AIACV Members /Significant Others $10 / Non-Members $20
Parking: Metered parking is available on the streets surrounding the plant. Parking is free after 6:00pm. The site is readily accessible via public transit, visit www.sacrt.com for information.
CES LU's: AIA Members will receive 1. 5 AIA/CES Learning Units for attending.
