Eric Aglia is the newest Zumba Education Specialist (ZES) chosen to release Zumba Fitness' newest program Zumba Step. Prior to this he was Zumba Jammers (an instructor authorized to specialize in Zumba choreography) turned Zumba Education Specialist (ZES). Eric and wife Corrie were the Creatos and past owner of Cottonwood Dance & Fitness as well as the first husband and wife team teachers in Northern AZ. Eric has appeared on stage with Zumba Fitness Creator Beto Perez in the Orlando, LA, and Lille France Zumba Fitness Concerts. He is also featured in numerous instructional DVDs for Zumba Fitness Instructors. Eric is a featured instructor for the 2013 Zumba Fitness Video Game,"World Party".
Eric' main background is in dance. His 23 years of dance training and performing has taken him around the world. He teaches all styles of dance from Breakdancing to Ballet to over thousands of students all over the country. He can be seen in the Micheal Jackson movie "This Is It". He is a choreographer, director, and dancer. He has had the pleasure of working with such names as Carmen Electra, Teresa Espinoza, Tabitha Dumo, Nick Lazzarini, Jamie King, and 49er Goldrush Cheerleaders to name a few, and such companies as HP, Sony, Sanyo, Hummer, and Nike. I was signed on with MSA Talent Agency in LA.
