Way Da Go Dad
"Welcome to the Kelsey home," where life is about to change. Mr. Kesley has written a book on parenting. Unfortunately, he's the only one that has read it. By the end of the play, you'd wish it was a best seller. Way Da Go Dad will have you laughing, cheering, and at times have you wanting to shout out advice to poor ole Mr. Kelsey. Oldest daughter, Lisa, gets asked out by (Running for class president) Marcus. Her friends, Mary (Doing impersonations) and Sister Martha (Calm, witty, and quick with the one liner) are more than willing to help persuade Mr. Kesley to say yes. Emily, daughter number two, sees this as her opportunityshe's next in line, and has a secret admirer, Ace (Friend of Marcus. Funny, and willing to take "The" chance). BUT! Mr. Kelsey is not alone. The two youngest daughters, Marilyn (Has a crush on Marcus, and will do anything for money) and Lauren (Creative, witty, and Daddy's little girl) work togetherNOattempt toNOtry toNOdo anything they can to put a halt to the home wreckers (Marcus and Ace) coming to the "Kelsey" home.
Mrs. Kelsey (Gloria), the best mom, loving wife, the glue, no, the "Super Glue" of the Kelsey home. She is totally in touch with her daughter's; while Mr. Kelsey refuses to accept this high tech world that we live in. Gloria somehow handlesNodeals with the situation. She is lively, patient, but, has her limits. She is most of all funfunfun; in the name of love.
Sit back and relax. Enjoy the Kelsey family as they encounter hilarious outcomes of plans gone wrong, and who's sending those mysterious letters. "Who" is the mysterious opponent running against Marcus? Mr. Williams (Moderator, forgetful, never losing his composure) will attempt to keep the debates (Even though he's the instigator) under control.
Way Da Go Dad will (Hopefully) have every dad seeing themselves.
