Sustainability Wins Lunch and Learn: Saving Colorado's Forests Through Collaboration
During the last few summers, Coloradans have experienced droughts, environmental and personal destruction, and reduced air quality from wildfires.  The Front Range Roundtable is a coalition of individuals from state and federal agencies, environmental organizations, academic and scientific communities, and industry groups - all collaborating with a commitment to improve forest health and mitigate fire risk along Colorado's Front Range. You will hear from 3 members of this group who will be educating us on the current health of the forests and current wildfire mitigation programs: Glenn Casamassa, a Forest Supervisor of Arapahoe and Roosevelt National Forests, and Pawnee National Grasslands; Megan Davis, the Policy Analyst for Boulder County; and Mike Lester, Colorado Forester and Director. This Lunch and Learn will surely creating a burning interest to preserve the beauty and functionality of Colorado's forests.
