Thai massage is a wonderfully relaxing and balancing practice hailing from a traditional Buddhist system of healing. A blend of yoga, acupressure and reflexology, it's designed to open the body's natural energy flow, encouraging healing and relaxation.

Alex will move your body into simple yoga-like positions, stretching your muscles in a rhythmic movement of gentle rocking, while using pressure and compression to release tension.

Having been an avid yogi for 10 years and lover of getting up off the sofa and getting active, Thai massage struck a chord from Alex's very first afternoon workshop. She trained with Ralf Marzen, completing his beginners and advanced courses. She will use her body to move yours in a rhythmic dance leaving you aware and relaxed from your head to your toes. Who would have thought a well-placed foot under your shoulder blade or someone massaging your earlobes could feel so good.

A typical full treatment works the entire body and is 1.5-2hrs long but we are offering 30 minute taster sessions at the Festivaleyes Open Day. Please feel free to book multiple 30 minute blocks if you would like a longer session.
