Tri-Valley Consultants Forum -- October Breakfast Meeting
This month's speaker presentation is: "Nimble Dancing: Legal Considerations in the New Consulting Era."
Our presenter is Ms. Kris Vaca, an experienced corporate and securities lawyer, specializing in advising clients on entity formation and providing general counsel services to start-up and emerging companies. She has represented numerous companies in negotiating and drafting and related documentation. She also has extensive experience in the negotiation, review and drafting of all forms of business contracts, including intellectual property licensing agreements, service agreements, escrow agreements, financing agreements, purchase agreements, leases of personal and real property, and employment and independent contractor agreements. Ms. Vaca has served as in-house general counsel to a public company and has represented large and small companies and public entities in contract matters. Ms. Vaca has a juris doctorate from the University of California Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall).
Our monthly meetings are held on the SECOND Wednesday of each month, begin with breakfast at 7:15am and end promptly at 9:30am. Meetings include a guest speaker, round table discussion and structured networking with time and space for additional networking after the meeting.
$20.00 in advance; $30.00 at door (space permitting)
