We suggest you attend this very special shindig full of birthday-girl temper tantrums, beguiling birthday cake, and memories of past shenanigans. Oh yes - we've got a guest conductor, so heckling is encouraged. How rude!
What's an "OperaFeHk"?
OperaFeHk is Vancouver's newest, wackiest, most exciting purveyor of theatrical chamber music.
Under the ignominious baton of Maestro Grimey LeVine, we're engaging in musical mayhem and taking the "class" out of classical, one show at a time. In other words, we're an absurdist chamber ensemble with a cast of classically-trained musicians and surreal cartoon characters come to life. We take great delight in weaving together elements of theatre, opera, contemporary classical music, and foul humor to engage our audiences.
