**SPRING CONCERT: "ri'flekSHens in 6"(1 performance only)
Red Clay Dance Company presents its annual spring concert "ri'flekSHEns in 6", a world premiere and first evening length work by Founder and Executive Artistic Director Vershawn Ward.

"riflekSHens in 6" is a work inspired by Father/Daughter relationships. "The bond between a father and daughter is a sacred one and is vital to her development into womanhood. A girl's father is one of the most influential people in her life. His influence shapes her self-esteem, self-image, confidence and opinions of men."  Presented in 6 sections, the choreography is an introspective exploration of the complex link fathers and daughters share expressed through Red Clay Dance's signature Afro-Contemporary movement.  The performance environment is enhanced by high-impact projected images and video captured exclusively for this work by award winning photographer Marta Garcia.
