SUE MATTHEWS QUARTET- ''Jazz Standards from the American Songbook''
Sue Matthews last performed at the Milton Theatre in November, 2009 in a tribute to Judy Garland. She enthralled the audience with her silky smooth, honey-toned, expressive voice that has led to her achieving "top 20" berths on the Gavin and R & R Jazz Charts. Her love of interpreting the American Songbook is apparent in Matthews' outstanding performances.
Her laid back effortless delivery and smoky voice, reminiscent of the late Julie London, is something to be savoured and enjoyed.
Ms. Matthews will be accompanied by pianist, Stef Sciaggiari and two additional outstanding musicians.
