We have a special event coming up on Tuesday, August 3 as the winery principle from The Markus Molitor Estate will be in the area. Join us at Boheme Bistro in Delray Beach to learn more about the winery, taste a selection of wines from the Mosel region and mingle with some new lovers of food and wine.
Boheme Bistro is a classic Delray Beach restaurant that has been around for over 20 years. Owned by Tony and Rachel Boueri (the same people behind Olio), Boheme blends the tradition of family, friends and good times with authentic Mediterranean and Italian cuisine. Whether you are looking to stop for a glass of wine from their extensive wine list at the bar, enjoy the breeze in the outdoor courtyard or sit down for a more complete dinner Boheme Bistro will welcome you in as part of the family.
Markus Molitor specializes in late harvest wines that exemplify the freshness and brilliance of Riesling from the Mosel Valley. Most vines are old-growth, on steep slopes which are often tended and harvested by hand. Molitor vineyard soil is enhanced naturally with organic material; no chemical fertilization is used, thus allowing the grapes to develop a true vineyard identity. The slate-covered slopes produce wines that are richly fragrant and light- to medium-bodied with a well-balanced minerality and a lively, fruity acidity.
Cost: $10 in advance, $15 at the door includes 1 glass of wine and a selection of complimentary hors d'oeuvres. Exact menu coming soon. While Markus Molitor focuses on Riesling, there will be red wine available.
