Tiny Hempcrete House Workshop!
Learn to build your own Tiny Hemp House with John Patterson
Have you ever dreamed of having a home that was more healthy, made out of natural materials, built with longevity and simplicity, more efficient, more comfortable and fire resistant. In this experiential workshop John takes participants on a journey to begin to build their own home. Starting with basic skills learned in these two days you will be on your way to creating your own hempcrete living vessel. You will learn a simple way to construct a post and beam frame, how to mix hempcrete using locally sourced binder materials, how to use slip-forms (shuttering) mixing and tamping. One of the most important aspects of a hempcrete building is the exterior lime plaster. Frank Wetenkamp of commonearth.builders will conduct a lime plastering section to show us how.
John then shares with participants the momentum of the Hemp building industry and why the time really is now for more natural materials in our buildings and how industrial hemp is the perfect solution in many different emerging applications. Continuing his Hemp Career theme from his keynote John coaches participants in an interactive mastermind on how to transform your own life to become a leader in the Hemp industry. At the end of the workshop new hemp leaders are prepared to go out and spread the word about hemp in an informed way with their own hemp balls as an example of the possibilities of industrial hemp. They will enjoy a clear path to the future of the plant.
Become part of the Industrial Hemp Revolution.
