GYDA ARBER is a writer/director best known for the transmedia theatrical experiences Suspicious Package (The Brick, 59E59, Edinburgh Fringe, Future Tenant: Pittsburgh), Suspicious Package: Rx (published in Plays and Playwrights 2010), the award-winning post-apocalyptic dating show FutureMate (Lincoln Center, The Brick) and the ARG-inspired Red Cloud Rising (called "brilliant" by the NY Times). Named "Person of the Year" by nytheatre.com, Arber is the director/creator of the interactive play Q&A: The Perception of Dawn, the writer/director of the short film Watching(Bride of Sinister Six), and the director of The Brick/FringeNYC sold-out hit Theater of the Arcade: Five Classic Video Games Adapted for the Stage. Also an actress, Arber has appeared at Lincoln Center, The Public, 59E59, and most frequently at The Brick, where she also serves as the executive producer of the Game Play festival, a celebration of video game performance art. A 4th-generation San Franciscan, she has a degree in musical theater from NYU and is a graduate of the Maggie Flanigan Studio. www.thefifthwall.info.
BENJAMIN COHEN first found FringeNYC while a Freshman at NYU, and has never left. He began as an intern, then took over the social media channels, adjudicated musicals, and is now the Assistant Producer for Social, Marketing and Community. He is a born-and-raised New Yorker, who has been living theatrically in every day life since birth. Previously, he was the Seat Manager for Broadway productions at Dodgers, and the Marketing Associate at Jujamcyn Theaters. He has also worked in membership services with the Broadway League. Ben is Spinning and TRX certified, which helps him balance a worrisome love for Skittles. Other hobbies include snuggling with his dog Tiger Lily, traveling, and singing like Celine Dion.
AMY ROSE MARSH is a dramaturg originally from the Pacific Northwest, but she is currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Currently, she works as the Literary Manager with Samuel French, Inc. where she has helped bring over 400 new plays to print. Additionally, she also serves as the Artistic Director for the Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival, Manhattan's oldest continuous short play festival, which is in its 39th year and will be running in August 2014. She is also an Associate Artist with Concrete Temple Theatre and an active member of the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas. She has spoken on panels for the Association of Authors and Representatives, the All-for-One Theatre Festival, and LMDA, has taught at Citywrights Festival in Miami, FL and has been a reader for Native Voices at the Autry, The Lark, and Young Playwrights, Inc. Amy holds a B.A. in Theatre and a B.A./B.M. in Vocal Performance from the University of Washington
MARC STUART WEITZ has worked as the Producing Director for the OBIE Award-winning New Ohio Theatre since 2011, having previously produced and directed theatre independently in New York City for 15 years. As the Artistic Director of Purpleman Theater, directing credits include world premieres of Population: 8, by Nicholas Gray (2009 NY International Fringe Festival); Time is the Mercy of Eternity, by Deb Margolin (with Six Figures Theater Company); Broken Hands, by Moby Pomerance (2006 FringeNYC Award winner); and Purpleman's original composition Days and Nights: Page 121, Lines 11 and 12 (2007 NY International Fringe Festival). Marc's other directing projects includes work with Vital Theatre Company, the Rude Mechanicals, and George Street Playhouse, among others. His upcoming work includes a collaboration with award-winning playwright Carson Kreitzer. A graduate of University of Pennsylvania and American Conservatory Theatre, Marc has taught voice and movement workshops at NYU, Purchase College, Marymount Manhattan, the Old Globe, DePauw, among others. With Constance Zaytoun, Marc co-authored the introduction, "What is a Good Play? Thoughts Across Centuries," for The Playwright's Workout, eds. Michael Bigelow Dixon and Liz Engelman (Smith & Kraus, 2009). He is a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab.
Lather Rinse Repeat: A Playwright's Collective is a select group of New York based playwrights who gather in support of each other's work. LRR was founded in 2013 by Brandon Marianne Lee and Natalie Wilson. The current LRR lineup is Jen Browne, Tim Duncheon, Tim Errickson, Lauren Ferebee, Mila Golubov, Amanda Keating, Brandon Marianne Lee, Mariah MacCarthy, Isaac Rathbone, Natalie Wilson, and Jeremy Wine.
