As You Like It
As You Like It tells of the unlikely and often ridiculous twists and turns on the path of love. Sometimes a girl has to flee into the forest, dress as a man, and woo her beloved by pretending to be a woman to bring about a happy ending. This is Rosalind's story. Sometimes a young man will win the heavyweight wrestling championship and venture into the forest to seek his fortune and there find such a young woman. This is Orlando's story. In the midst of this hilarious romance, there are two clowns, four marriages, two Dukes (one evil, one banished) and a rich array of characters from every walk of life. In this play it can truly be said that "all the world's a stage." All three performances will take place at Seattle Musical Theatre in Magnuson Park on Friday-Saturday, January 30-31, at 7:00 p.m. Please join us for this very special production in our new venue!
