A routine morning prisoner count on an Israeli base leads to a tragic mistake. Alan, a Scottish-born Israeli reservist and Nabil, a Palestinian doctor, grapple with the outcome -- and the agonizing complexity of the conflict between their Jewish and Arab compatriots.
A discussion and light refreshments follow the play reading.

8 Days, 8 Locations--Continuum Theater, a new Chicago Jewish performing Arts Organization, produces The Chicago Jewish Play Reading Festival. The festival features 8 contemporary Jewish plays, read by professional actors in 8 locations around the Metropolitan Chicago area. Various synagogues and community organizations partner with us by hosting the readings in their buildings and promoting the festival to their community.
The Chicago Jewish Play Reading Festival 2015 is supported by the Breakthrough Fund: An Innovation of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, and a grant by JCC PresenTense Chicago.
