Combat and Carols Portland
A joyous spring concert featuring Monteverdi's rarely performed drama 'Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda' interpreted by the Schola soloists and guest dancers, accompanied by strings, harpsichord, archlute. Light hearted madrigals and Handel's Chandos Anthem No.9 will complete the concert.
Special guests: Choreographer Colleen Edwards and dancers Erica Diesl and Kaleigh Natale to accompany the concert with dance.
Concert is to be performed in Portland, Falmouth and Brunswick, with a post-concert reception immediately following the Falmouth concert.
Seating is first come first served, please plan to arrive early for the best seat options.
NOTE: Online ticket sales end 12 hours prior to concert start time, after that, you may purchase tickets at the door the day of the concert.
