The Nugget Fringe Festival -- On Yonder Hill
On Yonder Hill- An Irish-American Love Story featuring traditional Irish and Irish-American songs. Written and performed by NC local Mark Lyon at fringe festivals all over North America, 'Tis a "little bit of heaven" when an Irish tenor from the early 1900's on temporary leave from heaven, returns to relive his life in song and story - featuring traditional Irish and Irish-American songs. Funny, poignant romantic and lyrical; whether you are Irish or merely wish that you were, On Yonder Hill will "steal your heart away." "A born storyteller and charismatic tenor, Lyon carried the audience in his palms with nothing more than a chair, a great voice and a natural aptitude on the stage." Prince George Free Press.
