Back from a successful run in 2009, Bad Dog Theatre presents another exciting month of 9 to 5, an improvised day in the working life. From blue to lipstick-stained, every collar is peeled back to reveal the fun and frustrations of your not-so-average workplace.

From the minds that brought you About an Hour (Canadian Comedy Award nominee, Best of Fringe 2008) and Show Stopping Number (Canadian Comedy Award winner, Best of the Fringe 2007), 9 to 5 brings you "a day in the life" of this stellar cast ("the best comic minds in the city" -NOW Magazine) as they spend a day working for a randomly chosen Toronto business.

Each show, a specially designed computer program picks a business from the Yellow Pages at random, and a giant clock tracks the trials and tribulations of a typical workday there. No one knows which business will be picked nextÃ,but it could be one you know!

9 to 5 stars Jan Caruana (Monkey Toast), Alex Hatz (About an Hour), Carmine Lucarelli (Dreadwood), and Alastair Forbes (Battleawesome Awesomestar) and is directed by Dora and Gemini award nominee Lisa Merchant (About an Hour, Train 48, Monkey Toast).

No matter the job, this cast will redefine the 9 to 5er...and we promise to play the Dolly Parton song you love so much.
