Chihuly at the Salk - Monday, April 26, 2010 - Evening Tours
Following the lead of its founder, Jonas Salk, who believed art and science go hand in hand, the Salk Institute is celebrating its 50th anniversary with Chihuly at the Salk, an outdoor installation of more than a dozen hand-blown glass sculptures by renowned artist Dale Chihuly.
The public is invited to tour our facility and experience the fantastically colorful and expressive works of art dramatically set against the Institute's landmark concrete buildings, the iconic courtyard overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and within the tranquil eucalyptus grove.
