Experience Architecture - Valley Home Tour / Flight House
Presented in collaboration with AIA Central Valley's Custom Residential Architect's Network (CRAN) Committee.

Just minutes away from Davis, experience modern living, valley
style, inspired by this California, mid-century case-study home. Designed by Maria Ogrydziak,AIA, this interconnected complex of one-story buildings weaves between indoor and outdoor spaces, inhabiting a 4.5-acre site surrounded by fields, a private meadow and micro-farm. Designed for a young family to work, live and host guests, the project features
innovative TriDi construction, walls of glass that open to the outside, a roof deck with panoramic views and embedded steel details in the walls. Signature, structural wings rise from the roof, enabling the tall, interior spaces.

Sun, Oct 19, 10 am  1 pm, $5
Registered attendees will receive directions prior to tour.

Sponsored by: Milgard Windows & Doors, Inside Publications, Mohawk, SD Deacon/Hogue, and SMUD.

Experience Architecture Week is a public-outreach event designed to facilitate greater transparency with the public in how architects create our built environment and how it impacts their daily lives; to create an ongoing dialogue to inform a distinct, regional, architectural identity; and to highlight existing relationships between the region and its architecture. The 2014 Experience Architecture Week is scheduled from October 10th-October 19th.

This year's event features eleven events over 10 days, and features the region's first Canstruction build benefiting the Sacramento Food Bank. Click here to learn more about Experience Architecture events.
