--------------------------------------- 1. Confirmation Email for Branded Sites ---------------------------------------
Confirmation emails being sent to ticket buyers purchasing tickets through our branded ticketing service were seeing the default www.BrownPaperTickets.com website in their links instead of the vanity URL for the branded site. The correct URL is now being diplayed.
--------------------- 2. Unified Ticket IDs ---------------------
Until now, two different ticket IDs were used in our system. One series was unique across our entire site. The other series was unique only for a given event. We have now phased out this second ticket ID. From this point forward, all tickets, whether physical, print-at-home, Open Ticket Network, or will call, will display a ticket ID that is unique across our system. Likewise, event producers will see this number displayed in their Door Sales list and their comprehensive sales list.
------------------------------------------ 3. Currency Symbols in Confirmation Emails ------------------------------------------
UK and European ticket buyers were seeing the HTML-escaped currency symbols in their confirmation emails. This has been corrected.
-------------- 4. Default VAT --------------
Because most event producers in the UK include the VAT in the face value of the ticket, we have changed the default VAT value to 0%. Producers wishing to list the VAT separately may still do by changing this setting when posting or editing their events.
------------------------------------------- 5. Bulk Ticket Purchasing for UK and Europe -------------------------------------------
Some event producers attempting to order bulk tickets in Europe and the UK were receiving an error message on the billing screen. This has been corrected.
