==================== Release Notes - V5.04 ==================== 1. Forum Rebuild 2. Maestro 3. Default UK Billing Country 4. Event Website URL Auto-correct 5. Press Release Feeds ====================
---------------- 1. Forum Rebuild ----------------
The Producer Forums have been redesigned and rebuilt. The changes are largely cosmetic, but should still improve functionality. Individual posts have been much more personal. You can see the name of the person posting, a link to their Public Pages, a bit of their posting history, and their organization's logo. The layout of Forum information has also been improved to provide better readability and interaction. Over the next few weeks, our support staff will be reorganizing the Forum categories and adding some actual useful content, instead of the random musings that existed there previously.
---------- 2. Maestro ----------
Ticket buyers from the UK and Europe can now use Maestro cards for their ticket purchases.
----------------------------- 3. Default UK Billing Country -----------------------------
Ticket buyers from the UK will now have the billing country automatically default to "United Kingdom".
--------------------------------- 4. Event Website URL Auto-correct ---------------------------------
When an event producer posts their event's URL, the protocol is removed. In most cases, the protocol consists of "http://". We then manually replace this when displaying the URL to ticket buyers. This is done to avoid displaying URLs without a protocol or listing the protocol twice. The function that performs this feat was overachieving and was removing the letters h, t, and p from the beginning of server name as well. This has been corrected.
---------------------- 5. Press Release Feeds ----------------------
We can now automatically provide Press Releases to media outlets. If you work with a media outlet and would like access to a feed, please contact our Event Marketing department at eventmarketing@BrownPaperTickets.com.
------------------------
As always, please let us know if you run across any bugs or typos. And if you have any tools or feature that we don't currently offer that you can't live without, we'd love to hear about them! You can email us at support@BrownPaperTickets.com or call us at 1-800-838-3006 24 hours a day.
