What does 'home' mean to you?
Is it your house, your home town, your home team or your homeland? Is it your family, your friends or your community? Is it an object, a favourite meal, or a particular festival? Scottish Book Trust are collecting together Scotland's stories of home for people to discover and share on their website. The deadline to submit a story, which could also be published in a special book for Book Week Scotland 2014, is the 30th June.
To help you to put your thoughts about home on the page before the final submission date, Scottish Book Trust is running a workshop led by the fantastic Beatrice Colin at CoastWord.
Open to all levels of writer, including first-timers, and writers who work in Scots or Gaelic, workshops will involve advice and writing practice to help fuel your inspiration for your story about home.
