SkillSwap: Digital Photography - The Basics of Shooting Manual Mode
SkillSwap is a barter-based education series featuring workshops on a variety of topics. There is no monetary registration fee; instead, each instructor suggests items or services they will accept in exchange for class participation.
Our volunteer instructors prepare based on how many people sign up, so PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP IF YOU WILL ACTUALLY ATTEND.
Class Description
You can expect to learn about the basics of digital photography and shooting in manual mode. Aperture, shutter speed, and ISO - lets talk abotu that in an understandable way. You can bring your camera/DSLR with you to this class - recommended, but not required.
Suggested swap items for this class
* An empty journal (leave an entry if you so dare)
* A coffee and conversation - you pick the place and lets talk!
* A list of hikes within a few hours drive
* A thrift store sweater (size Large)
* Old coffee mug
About the Instructor
Bryce is a proud York native that finds passion in people, photography, and conversation. He is currently a volunteer coordinator and sits on the YYSO board. Bryce enjoys nature and drinks coffee for the conversation, not the caffeine.
