The Cascadian Chorale celebrates its fiftieth year in 2015 and as part of the celebration we will be releasing a new recording, only the second in the ensemble's history. Welcome Home was recorded last spring and this music will be presented live at our upcoming March concerts. The highlight of the repertoire is Frostiana, Randall Thompson's settings of poetry by Robert Frost. Both the recording and the concert will also feature works by the colonial American composer William Billings and five Northwest composers, Eric Lane Barnes, Christopher Lee Fraley, Bern Herbolsheimer, Jeremy Kings and Giselle Wyers.
CDs will be available for purchase at the concert and on the Cascadian Chorale website.
