Hey all you fabulous entrepreneurs, business owners, and work-from-home folks!
As promised, Coggins Accounting is launching our "3rd Wednesday Workdays"
We plan on hosting this event every month.
Our first one is on
OCTOBER 20, 2021 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
at the Pioneer Collective (100 S. King Street)
This is meant to be a place where business owners can:
find accountability and support\ for those pesky administrative tasks
grow friendships and networks with other small business owners
share knowledge and expertise, and learn tips and tips and new tricks
What will it be like?
Coggins Accounting will have desks (and a few computer monitors) set up in a communal space at the Pioneer Collective at 100 S. King Street. We will all work together, similar to a "hot desk co-op" work environment.
We will be working with you! Kathy and potentially other staff will be on hand for questions, support, and help as needed.
Lunch will be provided. We envision a shared working lunch to formally meet each other and idea share on a subject. Eventually, we hope to have lunch-time presentations on common business concerns.
Our work space will not be suitable for phone calls, but there are private phone booths available if you need to make a call.
This event is for FULLY VACCINATED PERSONS ONLY. We ask that you mask in the workspace, as well as follow whatever the evolving mask requirements of the Pioneer Collective is (currently they ask that everyone mask, unless eating or drinking). We ask that you do not attend if you have experienced Covid-like symptoms anytime in the previous 24 hours.
This is a come-and-go event... arrive when you like, and leave when you must.
But, what kinds of things would I work on?
The short answer is: whatever you have been putting off and need an accountability partner for or, if you enjoy co-working environments, whatever is on your list
The biased answer from Coggins Accounting is: bookkeeping! (Those pesky unanswered questions in QBO, if we do your bookkeeping, expense reports and your mileage records?) ;-)
Other ideas: invoicing clients and customers, paying your bills, updating your website, cleaning out your email inboxes, wrangling your calendar
Whatever admin tasks are keeping you awake at night.
What does it cost?
$75 for advanced registration. $85 for late registrations. Your registration fee will cover on-hand staff support, the rental of the workspace, and LUNCH :-)
There are no refunds for cancellations, but you can bump your paid ticket to the next month up to twice, if needed.
What should I bring?
Your laptop
Your laptop power cord
Any adapters you may need to connect to HDMI (if you are using one of our monitors)
Phone charger
Headphones, if you like to work with music (or just block out the hubbub of the room)
Business cards - you will be meeting other professionals who will be interested in you and your work
We'll have assorted drinks available.
