Hailing from Texas, Alabama, and Georgia respectively, now neighbors in Austin, BettySoo, Grace Pettis, and Rebecca Loebe are bewitching audiences with sumptuous harmonies and unforgettable songwriting. Friends now for a decade, they first met at the legendary Kerrville Folk Festival, each winners of the annual New Folk award. Luscious harmony singers, effortless instrumentalists, seasoned touring artists  they recognized what each can accomplish individually could be made all the stronger by collaboration. Now, the spark has been set, the fire lit. Their individual and collective fans are eating it up. A video of Fast Car garnered twenty-thousand views on Facebook within days of posting. The harmonies are thrilling; echoes of Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton and Linda Ronstadts Trio recordings. The songs are powerful and spare. The stage presence confident and assured. Their collabortion has resulted in their forthcoming EP Waterline under the band name NOBODYs GIRL to be released in the fall on the Lucky Hound label.

You may have seen Rebecca Loebe when she made her international television debut on the first season of NBCs The Voice. Her version of Nirvanas Come As You Are was one of the top-selling singles of that season, charting on iTunes around the world and inspiring Adam Levine to declare I just love listening to you sing. In the years since she has honed her voice as one of the Americana music scenes most exciting new songwriters and earned a place on Alternate Root Magazines annual listing of the Top 10 Female Singers in America.

BettySoo, on guitar, vocals, accordion, and keys, has been honored as a featured performer at some of the top music festivals in the United States, including SXSW, Tin Pan South, and Kerrville. She has garnered awards such as Mountain Stage NewSong Competition Winner and Big Top Chautauqua Songwriter of the Year. Bettysoos voice has been described as the perfect combination of strength, vulnerability, and clarity just perfect (Americana-UK), and her songwriting as beautiful, heart-wrenching and also edgy and unwavering (KUT).

Grace Pettis is the winner of many of the nations most prestigious songwriting contests, including NPRs Mountain Stage NewSong Competition, where she also took Best Song honors. Sirius XM Program Director Mary Sue Twohy described Graces distinct, unaffected voice as a Wide open prairie, full of waving golden grains before menacing, dark thunderclouds. Graces songs have been recorded by many esteemed artists including three-time Grammy-nominated blues artist Ruthie Foster. She is currently recording her third studio album, expected later this year.

Doc & Dave
https://docanddave.com

It began through a posting on NextDoor that brought Doc and Dave together last December. Although they are still in the early stages of creating music together, they have already brought a distinctive blend of guitar, fiddle, mandolin and vocal harmonies to a repertoire of songs drawn from their diverse musical backgrounds.

Doc - GUITAR AND VOCALS
Paul (Doc) Bluestein picked up a guitar (a Sears Silvertone) for the first time when he was 16, starting more than fifty years of playIng, singing and writing songs.  He had thoughts of becoming a musician and when he told his parents, they said All we want is for you to be happy. You can be anything you want so long as its a doctor or a lawyer.  He eventually did become a doctor (no longer practicing) and a guitar player (still practicing) and played with friends and family over the years, moving through a variety of musical interests from folk, rock, jazz and blues.

Dave - VOCALS, MANDOLIN AND FIDDLE
Dave played violin (reluctantly) as a child which became his gateway drug to fiddle and mandolin.  You might think a fiddle and mandolin player would be influenced heavily by country music and bluegrass, and you would be right. But Dave went far beyond that, playing songs that ranged from icons like Hank Williams, Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan, to Creedence Clearwater, The Band, the Eagles and jazz standards.
