Garden Tool Care
Learn how to care for your gardening tools. Come with a tool or two for a hands-on demonstration on how to clean, maintain, and sanitize your garden tools for maximum efficiency and pleasure in the garden. Suggested tools: pruners, loppers, shovel, forestry shovel, hoe. No plastic tools please. For adults only--beginning gardeners welcome.
Presenter Nathalie Fonteyne Gavrilovic is a UConn advanced master gardener and a UConn master composter. She lends her skills in many gardens, including Wakemans. In her garden practice, she is expert at maintaining her tools both for maximum efficacy and to control the spread of plant disease.
