ZEPHYRUS PRESENTS: A Renaissance Christmas in Rome
Zephyrus recreates the sounds of a 17th-century Christmas in Rome with music by two of the most famous musicians employed at the Sistine ChapelGiovanni Pierluigi Palestrina and Girolamo Frescobaldias well as their colleague Tomás Luis de Victoria. The featured work is Palestrinas joyful Missa Hodie Christus natus est for eight-part double choir, based on the composers motet of the same name.
There are two performances of this concert. ALL TICKETS WILL BE HONORED AT EITHER PERFORMANCE.
