Polina Shepherd (United Kingdom): Workshop + Concert
Dear friends! Join us for a vocal/instrumental workshop followed by a performance of the star of new klezmer straight from London, in Montreal for one gig only!
Always stunning in her musicianship, always surprisingly and refreshingly new, this time Polina will lead a vocal Yiddish song workshop (instruments are invited to join and accompany), which will be followed by a performance of her new neo-klezmer material. She will be joined on stage by Montreal's own Zilien Biret and Yoni Kaston. Bring your voice and your instrument and join one of the world's leading klezmer performers as she blends tradition and innovation in the most unique way. Participants in the workshop will have the opportunity to be part and parcel of the main-stage performance!
POLINA SHEPHERD works as an educator, leading choral workshops internationally.
