Valley Light Opera Presents: Costumes through the Ages
Valley Light Opera presents a fund-raising celebration of exquisite costumes from medieval times to the 20th Century, all created by VLO's team of costume designers for past productions. More than a dozen performers will model the costumes and sing joyous, funny, brilliant music to match, with piano accompaniment. The program will include selections from Princess Ida, The Mikado, HMS Pinafore, Iolanthe, The Sorcerer, The Pirates of Penzance, Yeomen of the Guard, Patience, Ruddigore, Brigadoon, The Merry Widow, and My Fair Lady. A silent auction will also take place featuring handcrafted pieces created by our designers. Wine and other beverages will be available for purchase to accompany complementary hors d'oeuvres.
All proceeds will go toward improving storage for VLO's extensive costume collection.
SHOWTIME Friday, March 29, 7:30 PM. Doors will open at 7 PM. Seating is general admission.
