Susan Gibson in concert
Texas singer/songwriter Susan Gibson hasn't played with us in a decade, but she returns to the Red Dragon on Oct 18. Susan is responsible for writing one of the all time biggest selling songs in the history of country music. "Wide Open Spaces" knocked out our good friend Lloyd Maines who took it straight to his daughter's band, the Dixie Chicks. The song became their album's title track and biggest hit. Susan has also written songs for other artists including one on our wish list.....Carrie Rodriguez. Also for Jim Lauderdale and another for the Dixie Chicks. Our good friend Barry Hebert will open.
