When Sparks Fly

Alpha Psi Omega presents When Sparks Fly, a showcase of scenes that were written by members of its organization. The showcase is directed by Kaelen Novak and will be performed by various members of Alpha Psi Omega. Tickets are $5, which goes to Alpha Psi Omega so that we may continue to further our knowledge in the study and practice of the arts.

The five scenes include:

Dead-Dead-Dead-Crazy by Colin Ross - Theres something strange about Alexs girlfriend. She might not be real. Alex calls a couple of friends over to help set the record straight: is Alex imagining Faith? Can Rachel keep a secret? Was Dan Akroyd in Ghostbusters? Was does a chubby Tilda Swinton look like?

Camelot by Quinton Williams - A look into the lives of a married couple and how their lives parallel the triumphs and downfalls of the Kennedy administration.

Sparks and Coffee Cups by Chrystina Villanueva - Mason gets dumped in a coffee shop by his girlfriend. He claims that no one ever will ever love him. He is found by his best friend, who tries to get him to pull it together.

Reboot by DeJuan James - Robert and Kelly, married for fifteen years, meet over drinks to discuss a troubling event that happened the night before and how they got there.

Life Support by Jessica Spear - A support group of four people with mental health disorders talk amongst each other while waiting for their group leader. But what happens when she doesnt arrive?
