Bookshop Santa Cruz presents an evening with Samantha Power, United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Pulitzer Prize winner, and human rights activist, to celebrate the release of her newest book, The Education of an Idealist. Samantha Power will be in conversation with award-winning local journalist and author Peggy Townsend. Join us at Peace United Church on Wednesday, September 18, for this very special evening, cosponsored by the Politics Department at UC Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz Indivisible, and the Democratic Women's Club.

Ticket options:
Single Entry: $34.00 Admission for 1 person. Includes 1 copy of The Education of an Idealist.
Double Entry: $40.00 Admission for 2 people. Includes 1 copy of The Education of an Idealist.
You will collect your book as you enter the event. Double entry ticket holders: if arriving separately, the first ticket holder to enter will collect the book.
Please find your signing line number on your ticket. Keep your ticket accessible, as we will invite you by number to join the signing line.
If you are unable to attend the event, your copy of The Education of an Idealist will be available for pickup at Bookshop Santa Cruz starting the day after the event, for up to 60 days afterwards, at which point it will be forfeited. Double entry ticket holders: One person showing as having been admitted at the event indicates that your book has been received.
