Progressive Rock / Fusion Legends BRAND X return to Indianapolis following their amazing performance here in 2018. With a fan base that includes musicians and dedicated followers, the band's legacy has put them at the top of their musical genre.
BRAND X originated in England many moons ago, and became well known as "Phil Collin's Other Band" while he was making the transition in GENESIS from drummer to "Lead Vocalist & Drummer".
The original founders of BRAND X (bass pioneer Percy Jones & guitar wizard John Goodsall) have been mesmerizing audiences with their live show. Joining them are keyboardist Chris Clark, drummer Kenny Grohowski and percussionist Scott Weinberger.
They're excited to return to Indy and rock the Irving Theater again.
And there will be much rejoicing...
Opening the show will be US Prog band DISTRICT 97.
District 97 is undoubtedly the most musically adventurous rock band in the world to feature an American Idol Top 10 Female Finalist. Formed in the Fall of 2006, the band drew upon influences from heavy metal to avant-garde jazz. The foursome from Chicago honed a no-holds barred style of eclectic and intricate Instrumental Rock before deciding the right vocalist was needed to complement their sound: enter 2007 American Idol Top 10 Female Finalist, Leslie Hunt.
2018 saw the band completing tracking for Screens, their highly-anticipated fourth studio album, and first with their new lineup. Due for release September 2019 through the UK's venerable record label Cherry Red, the band featured music from it to great acclaim on Cruise To The Edge, and will continue to do so at Marillion Montreal Weekend, Seaprog, Summer's End, and other dates throughout North America, UK, and Europe in 2019.
And opening for Brand X here in Indy March 26th.

Brand X's first-ever Blu-Ray concert release, and newest live CD called "Locked & Loaded", will be available at the concert, along with other Brand X recordings.
