Carolyn Hester w/ Nina Ricci

Southern Indiana Folk Review, in association with The Village Folk, presents Carolyn Hester with her daughters, Amy and Karla Blume! Live at the Yes Cinema in Columbus, Indiana on September 26, 2019 at 7:00pm eastern.

Carolyn Hester is a Folk living legend! She began her recording career in 1959 with her album Scarlet Ribbons, while sharing studio time with the great Buddy Holly! Two years later, Hester recruited a then unknown Bob Dylan to play harmonica on her first Columbia album. Dylan was noticed by John Hammond and subsequently signed to the label.

Hester's musical career is now in it's 6th decade, and she has never sounded better!!

Nina Ricci is an up and coming Folk/Americana singer joining us from Nashville, Tennessee. Ricci, who just released her first cd, Designs on Me, in March 2018, is getting airplay throughout the country and in many foreign markets. She currently sits at #5 on the ReverbNation Folk/Americana chart.
