Tim Janis in Concert
Featuring original songs from his first new album since 2010 Tim Janis is joined by fellow artists, Celtic Violinist Máiréad Nesbitt, singer/songwriter Lynn Hilary, Irish Flautist Eimear McGeown, and harpists Camille and Kennerly Kitt (HARP TWINS).
Tim Janis' new album is woven together in epic and sweeping emotion routed in Celtic tones with touches of mystical and ethereal themes.
A portion of proceeds from his concert will provide direct financial support to York High School student academics and educational experiences.

With millions of albums sold, five National Public Television specials, and two # 1 Billboard-charting CDs, Tim Janis has worked with some of the top artists in the music and entertainment businessfrom Sir Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Ray Charles, Maya Angelou, Emanuel Ax, Andre Previn, Sarah McLachlanto George Clooney, and James Earl Jones. Director, composer, producer, and performer Tim Janis is committed to creating music that can heal and promote peace on a global level. Tims music has traveled across the world, from prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall Lincoln Center, and the Rudolfinum in Prague, to Africa, China, and Eastern Europe. His music has been performed and played by The American Symphony Orchestra, conducted by David Snell; The London Symphony Orchestra; The New York Philharmonic, conducted by Kurt Mazar; The Hartford Symphony Orchestra; The Kansas City Orchestra; The Kwazulu Natal Philharmonic in Durban, Africa and the Walt Disney special theme parks. In addition, as guest of former U.S Ambassador, Craig R. Stapleton Tim conducted Symphonie Fantastique with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra. His extensive work with PBS includes Beautiful America, a musical special narrated by actor George Clooney and his American Christmas Carol special with actor James Earl Jones. Beautiful America was created to showcase the beauty and importance of our National Parks, and raised over two million dollars in donations for PBS during its broadcast.
Tim's philanthropic commitment frames the work he defines as Music of Hope, with the goal of benefiting and bringing awareness to important causes through music, film, and performance. Projects have included performing and recording in South Africa with Sinikithemba, an all female, HIV-positive choir that spreads a unifying message in the midst of Africas AIDS crisis; partnering with Church World Service to support Kenyas School Safe Zones Project and to record his song Children of the World, that brings awareness to the global plight of children living in poverty. Additionally, former First Lady Barbara Bush narrated Tims first childrens book Shine Like a Lighthouse, with proceeds benefiting The National Foundation of Cancer Research, and in 2010 Tim partnered with Telehealths Tigr Systems and created In Room Symphony, which offers his healing music daily in hospitals across America.
