Princess Guy & Arnaldo!: The Princess Chronicles
Princess Guy is a quartet of fellows who sing like well-trained birds. We sing music and yammer at the audience and get really excited because this is super fun for us. Happily, our audiences seem to enjoy our goings-on enough to jump up and down like excited children, clapping hands gleefully and spilling things. Sometimes, someone in the audience will sing along which causes us to stop and glare until it stops. I mean really.
We are tuneful, whimsical and gay, though our focus is on the first two things. We all have the gay thing down.
The Princess Chronicles is our first show at East Shore Live and will include songs from Broadway musicals, a cappella takes on pop songs, a few classical pieces (Palestrina, anyone?) a few barbershop songs, a cowboy song, a sacred piece or two, a number of vocal jazz pieces - heck, if you throw a dart at a board marked 'song styles through history' you will hit at least two songs we will sing.
Princess Guy is giddy with excitement to also present our special guest, ARNALDO! Drag Chanteuse! The exclamation points are part of their name! This internationally famous performer will add a touch of class and more than a little whimsy to The Princess Chronicles. And for those who wonder: yes, Arnaldo is actually singing. He does not lip-synch. I mean really.
