Deke Sharon Vocal Masterclass (CANCELLED)
We are excited to offer you the opportunity to participate in a Deke Sharon Vocal Workshop and Masterclass, AND to be part of a performance to benefit Blankets For The Homeless, a local Tidewater, VA Charity. The registration pricing below includes your participation as a performer in a group composed of all the workshop participants, under the direction of Deke Sharon!

The Workshop is open to both individuals and groups. Space is limited, so please reserve your spot early. We will select eight groups from all Group applicants to be Featured Performers during the benefit concert, and those groups will receive individualized coaching time with Deke. For groups that want to be considered as a feature group, you must include a link to your groups video clip that you would like to represent you in our Feature Groups selection process. If you are a Group Director, you will be prompted to enter these links during the next step in your ticket purchase process. Feature Group selections will be based on diversity within the framework of quality vocal production and performance values.
Workshop Fee - $300 (Early Bird - prior to 2/14/19)
$325 (After 2/14/19)
IMPORTANT NOTE! As part of your full workshop ticket purchase, you will receive a code and a url link with instructions to download eight (8) Deke Sharon a-cappella arrangements. This code will be sent to all full-workshop ticket purchasers beginning on 1/1/19. You will need to download, print and learn your part in these arrangements IN ADVANCE and be ready to "make them shine" for the fundraiser under Deke's coaching and direction!
Each ticket purchase includes Includes:
> Eight (8) Deke Sharon a-cappella arrangements
> Four open seminar presentations (all participants)
> Two catered afternoon meals (all participants)
> Opening Night invitational dinner with Deke (Directors Only -
seating is limited! - first come, first served!)
> Directors Toolkit Seminar (Educators & Directors only)
> Group coaching (Feature Groups only)
> Perform a 10 minute set in the first half of the fundraiser
(Feature Groups only)
> Ten hours of ensemble rehearsal with Deke in preparation for
the fundraiser concert (all participants)
> Two-hour dress rehearsal with Deke on Sunday, 5/19 (all
participants)
> Perform together in the Blankets For The Homeless benefit
concert, under the direction of Deke Sharon (all participants)
> Professionally produced memorabilia quality video featuring
highlights of the workshop and Concert available in several
media formats for an additional fee of $25.

LODGING: If you need lodging for the three nights of the workshop, we have negotiated group rates at Sleep Inn Lake Wright, 1521 Premium Outlets Blvd, Norfolk VA 23502 - less than two miles from the event site. Lodging costs are NOT included in the registration price. Rooms are $116.00/night, single or double occupancy (two full or one King bed).
